Essen - European Green Capital 2017

Due to this commendation the project office of Essen organized a poster competition. Ten successful designers from Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria as well as a group of students from Folkwang University were invited. The series of posters about change, movement and revision was aimed towards the concerns of the Green Capital of Europe. The pictures draw a parallel between the “Green City Essen” and moldy foods in an ironically-critical and provocative way. Only the text enhances the seriousness of the parody. The poster series was created in cooperation with Jenifer Jäger and was awarded amongst the student works. Our posters were presented in the Folkwang Museum alongside the work of the prominent designers from the 19 January until the 5 March 2017.
